The Happy Families program is a safe space for you to explore the impact of your childhood, family system and first relationships with your caregivers on your life RIGHT NOW and for the future.

If you struggle with perfectionism, people pleasing, over working, being super critical of yourself, have an overly chaotic life and generally don’t feel the way you want to AND know it’s due to some stuff from the past that you haven’t properly resolved yet… keep reading!

This 4 month program includes:

We will start in early September and the group class day and time will be determined once I know how many time zones are involved (it's 4 this round!).

As soon as you sign up you will receive the pre work to get your system ready for what is to come.

We start with orienting, resourcing and creating a felt sense of safety in your body to ensure your system is in the right place to get the most out of the work. (This is a mindset AND body work program. We combine both. And we want your nervous system in a place where it can do what’s required - and that means starting with safety).

In month 1 we will look at how/why your childhood still impacts you now, why it’s important to look at (even though it was a long time ago) and explore anything stopping you from feeling ok to do this work.

And I will introduce internal family systems so you can start to consider how your protective parts come into play and hold you back. (Identifying and "quieting down" the protective parts will be a core theme throughout the four months).

In month two we dive into your family rules and systems. What are the silent agreements you have signed up to that are creating results you don't want?

What is the role you have taken in your family - and as a result every relationship you have had since (if you people please or rescue or avoid conflict - this is going to change your life).

In month three we will address common challenges (people pleasing, perfectionism, avoidance of conflict, addiction to being busy / chaos) and the impact of different parenting styles (eg the critical parent).

Month four will focus on moving forward. Unwinding the patterns, stepping away from unhelpful programming, letting go of the roles you have taken. We will also look at how you can engage with your family (and extended family - we will totally be looking at the in laws here too!) in a healthy way in the future.
